This is ChinAffairs+.
ChinAffairs+ is a weekly newsletter that shares Chinese academic articles focused on topics such as China’s foreign policy, China-U.S. relations, China-European relations, and more. This newsletter was co-founded by me and my research assistant, ZHANG Xueyu. I am SUN Chenghao, a fellow with the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University, and currently a visiting scholar at the Paul Tsai China Center of Yale Law School in the United States.
My research interests include U.S. domestic and foreign policy, China-U.S. relations, transatlantic relations, AI and International security, etc. I teach a graduate-level course on Transatlantic Relations in the School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University. I have co-authored dozens of reports and books. My latest books Profound Changes Unseen in a Century and the U.S.-Europe Alliance was published by Popular Science Press in 2023, and The Gravity of Power in the White House: The National Security Council (1947-2019) by Current Affairs Press in 2020. My work has also been published in The Chinese Journal of American Studies, China International Studies, International Forum, Northeast Asia Forum, among others.
Through carefully selected Chinese academic articles, we aim to provide you with key insights into the issues that China's academic and strategic communities are focused on.
